Cons: Blade Sharpness, Weight
Amazing for the money...
I've been collecting big blades for a long time. Kukris, machetes, swords, bowies, hatchets, axes, whatever - you name it, I've owned the best and chopped up a bunch of crap with one. I'm impressed! Most blades don't survive the first whack! I will definitely be looking into more Condor products in the future. Awesome...

like a custom knife
I was expecting to get something flimly that I would have to put an edge on, and woudl rattle. I was thinking "I'll make this a modification piece". I was astounded at the quality and dutifully bought another. Why? I couldn't use the one I got, it was too pretty. The second one I got was just as gorgeous, but I didn't have any problem CUTTING THE CRAP OUT OF A PINE STUMP IN MY BACK YARD WHILE LISTENING TO IRON MAIDEN. THIS THIS KICKS ASS. I WOULD HAVE PAID $200. My expensive cold steel katana has nothing on this machete. "

Very nice "Tactical" machete
This caught my eye looking at the new stuff from Condor so I said "the heck" and fit it in my budget. First off they get high marks for quality the thing is very, very well made and to be honest being from El Salvador I was expecting something on the level of Windlass quality-nope! this is as well made as something from the US. I've been whacking everything from vines to small trees and it cuts ether with vengeance,it's not an ax but up to a quarter inch it'll chop through with one swing if you know what you're doing. The only thing I can say is if your used to regular machetes this may surprise you weight wise,it's more sword like then anything. Great machete! buy with confidence!!
