CON78200: Urban Explorer
Concord

At the foothills of the Dolomites sits the factory that manufactures the Concord Explorer Trekking Poles. Made from 7075 tempered aluminum, these poles are strong and light. A simple turn of the wrist telescopes the pole to the desired length, not only improving performance but increasing safety across a variety of terrain--notably ascents and descents. The Urban Explore is used for in-town explorations and the Wilderness Explorer when inspiration takes one off the beaten path.

Cons: Durability
Arrived broken
Ordered this for my father-in-law. Arrived promptly with free shipping (thanks). However, the tubing of the upper extension piece has a 3" crack from the top down. It seemed like a decent design, but it also seemed tough to twist the extension nuts and the whole works seemed to gaul when I pulled on it. I probably would not have found that the cane was broken on the inside, were it not so tough to change the length. The cane came apart when I loosened the nut, pulled on the lower tube. This caused the whole works to come apart, exposing that the middle tube was cracked. Not sure if this was used / returned and re-sent to me, or if it was broken at manufacturer... pretty good design, but I am sure this could happen again...

Made by Masters in Italy
This appears to be exact same build and quality of an Italian Masters cane I've had for years. 7075 Aluminum alloy ( the best) good locking system. Best shaped handle I've found. A few ounces heavier then my 2 section version, but still very light. Masters builds many good ski poles and trekking poles. Why now the Concord name, I cannot find out yet? A solid stick @ $60, $ 19 fantastic.. One has to learn how the sections tighten, if you do it backwards you will be frustrated, read the directions..

Lightweight cane for the money
I picked up this cane after my heart attack/stroke because I kept losing or leaving the others around. The cane is very strong & rigid for its lightweight & is my go-to cane on most occasions. Once adjusted properly it doesn't slip & the basket/snow spike has come to my aid a few times though I wish they could be stored on the cane itself. I'm not a big man (200 lbs.) but it helps me feel secure.
