A handful of knife for a decent price!
When I ordered the Crawford Kasper 3.75, it was backordered. I was pleasantly surprised when it arrived sooner than expected. I had read online reviews and watched videos about this knife, so I pretty much knew what to expect. This is a BIG knife, even relative to other folders with similar blade length. I have no problem carrying it in my work jeans, but some may find it too big. as to function, the blade came out of the box with a less than adequate edge. I was able to tune it to my liking with a little work on the stones. I noticed also that the blade had a bit of wobble when the lock was held in the release position, and the liner opposite the lock appears to be bent @ the pivot area. I was able to tighten the pivot screw and remove most of this wobble. Ideally, the blade would be a higher Rockwell steel, but I also realize that this would raise the price substantially. One other thing I would like to see is a little more texture on the zytel grip scales. They are too slick. On a positive note, I really like the Lawks function, which acts as a safety during hard use. Overall I think that this is a good sub-20 dollar tactical folder which will serve well if not abused.
