CR8900: Eraser - Designed by Liong Mah
A professional level tool that is as solid as it is functional.

Designer Liong Mah uses a bold profile to shape his vision of tactical. The Eraser™ locking liner tactical folding knife is designed and built to perform in your world. Its modified tanto blade wields a strong point for tough piercing into a variety of materials, and the elongated cutting edge can go the distance.

Opening the blade is rapid with use of the Flipper on the spine. Another added feature is the patented* LAWKS™ manual safety mechanism so you can secure the blade when open. The robust Eraser™ handle has a slight bend at the fore end to create a more substantial grip form for thrusting. The handle shape also affords a nice blade guard as well as a generous pommel. The machined G10 scales are radius contoured to fill the grip and the full, stainless steel liners create a formidable foundation for tough use.

All in all, the Eraser™ folder is one hell of a tactical folder that can take every bit of what you can dish out.
  • Modern blade design offers optimum cutting geometry and overall knife balance.
  • Blade flipper makes opening simple and rapid. Also is a very effective finger guard in the open position.
  • Overbuilt knife butt enhances overall build integrity.
  • The best of everything comes in the form of a flipper opener and the LAWKS manual safety mechanism.
  • An oversized pommel end design is built tough for hard use, and a movable stainless steel carry clip provides easy access carry.

Pros: Pocket Clip, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Ease of Opening, None
Cons: Overall Quality, Ease of Opening, Lock Ease of Use
Looks Amazing, but flawed.
Pros: unique opening click sound, awesome feel in hand, beautiful grind. cons: liner lock spring flawed the liner lock spring is to weak and developed up & down blade play. Uber complicated to put back together once pulled apart. 2 nylon washers 2 bronze washers & 1 lawks mechanism disc must be all aligned. handle feels grate, but quite slippery. final verdict: not recommended.

Nice knife
This is a very nice knife. I really like the overall aesthetics and appearance. The flipper deploys the blade is a very smooth fashion. My knife does show some tooling marks on the bolster and flipper. There is also a slight ridge where the bolster meets the handle. My knife also developed some front-to-back blade play after opening the knife a few times. i will be returning mine for an exchange. If both of these issues can be resolved, then i give this knife very high honors for the price. Pros: 1. nice looking 2. smooth deploy Cons: 1. quality control 2. blade play

Solidly built tactical blade, but also a great work knife.
This is an excellent all-round knife. Personally, I use it for some harder cutting tasks than I'm willing to trust to my Kershaw Shallot (also a great knife). The reverse-tanto/modified tanto blade is nice, as you get a very long cutting edge, as well as an exceptionally strong tip. The handle, while a little weird, actually has some excellent ergonomics. As a tac knife, you've got a relatively long, multi-purpose blade that can accommodate most fighting styles, and the handle is very comfortable for both normal and icepick grips. Having some experience with Tae Kwon Do, I have to say that this knife blends perfectly with that fighting style, so much so that I hardly have to modify my technique to use it effectively. My only gripe is the LAWKS lever, and even then, it's a small one. Because the lever is located where one normally keeps their thumb, it can be somewhat intrusive when on. It's also a little difficult to flick up with your thumb, especially in a stressful situation. All in all, this a very well-built knife. The aluminium bolsters and Micarta scales are very sturdy, and actually look quite nice. AUS8 is a good steel for the price, taking and holding a good edge, and the blade shape itself is inherently very sturdy anyway. While the knife is a little too big to EDC, it makes an excellent work knife and would be great for self defense, too.
