CRKSEB21SLEFT: Left Handed Small Sebenza 21
Chris Reeve Knives

Chris Reeve Knives describes this item as follows:

The Sebenza is 21 years old!

Who would have thought back in 1988 that Chris’s titanium handle folder would become a legend in the industry! Constant attention to design details and an unwavering commitment to quality in every aspect of the knife has created the Sebenza as a hallmark of excellence. To mark this amazing milestone, we are planning to make some changes to the lineup of Sebenzas.

We are going to stop making almost all Regular profile Sebenzas. The profile on the Classic will change slightly and this version will be known as Sebenza 21.

The design change on Sebenza 21 gives a more pronounced chamfer on the pivot edge of the handle allowing the knife to be inserted more easily into a pocket or sheath. The engraving of “Classic MM” on the back of the Classic Sebenza will be eliminated, making differentiation of the two models easy! The blade shape remains the same.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Pocket Clip, None
Cons: Ease of Opening
Thumb Stud issue.
The knife was extremely sharp out of the box! Nice feel and simple look. I want to use it as an EDC, but getting the blade to start opening is much harder than I thought it would be. Once it "starts" to open it is smooth and crisp. I think the thumb stud needs to be a little bigger. I have gone back to my Kershaw until I can come up with a fix. Maybe I need to adjust some of the screws.

Flawless Perfection!!
I've had this for a few months now, and wanted to write an honest reveiw anyways, but more so due to the price tag of this beauty! I've been carrying it every day since I took it out of its box...Took it apart just because, and put it back together with ease, just like many have said! I use my LH small Sebenza for EVERYTHING, and it takes it all, even hard use! Even after lots of boxes, plastic, mail snack packs, zipties, cardboard, rubber hosing, etc, still rock solid, with absolutely no blade play whatsoever!!! The titanium frame is very strong, and looks even better with scratch's, and scuffs; The lock (Chris Reeve Frame Lock) performs perfectly, and when engaged, the lock bar is flush with the blades tang, and is 100% user friendly! The clip is real nice, and I like how it is inlayed in the fram, so that if the screw/hex comes loose, it still won't go anywhere(it hasn't happen!). The blade is once again flawless, as it is a spear point(I think Chris Reeve inspired this blade shape knife world wide), and the stonewashed surface looks awesome, and adds to this custom's great looks! I favor full flat grind, but it's growing on me fast, and is easy to sharpen/touch up, and goes quite a while before needing the for mentioned! Last, but not least, it is 100% lefty, like it was made for me!!! So, if you are worried about the price tag...Tripple that is what you get in performance, quality, and hand made craftsmanship...all right here in the USA!!! Oh, and it comes with an allen that fits all of the screws! Worth every penny, and right here @ the Knife Center are great people to help you out!!!
