CS12BT: Safe Keeper II
Cold Steel

Cold Steel describes this item as follows:

Safe Keeper Series

Here are perhaps the finest production push knives in almost 150 years. They have the cutting and piercing potential of a larger knife, but are small enough so that they can be easily attached to tactical web gear, tucked in a waistband or boot top, or even strapped to a wrist or ankle.

Safe Keeper II
Designed for the twenty first century, the Safe Keeper II is the ultimate push knife. Just the look of this knife with its wicked blade jutting out from the fist is enough to deter almost all aggressors. And, if action is necessary, the Safe Keeper's shock absorbing Kraton handle imparts devastating punching blows, yet is so secure in one's hand that it's practically impossible for even a novice to be disarmed.

Cold Steel Safe Keeper II
This is my self-defense knife. I carry this little push dagger when I'm in town late at night. Sometimes it's in my car, between the center panel and the seat. There I can get it quickly if i need it. It's light, slim and very, VERY sharp and it feels solid. Sheath rattles a little but it does not bother me. I am very satisfied and I'm going to buy another for my girlfriend.

Good design
The handle of this knife is very good, and given the design that is important. Sharp blade and the sheath fit snugly. In my view a good knife for self protection, not an everyday EDC.

After looking at the design of the scheeth I have found only one problem and that is the belt clip rides to low causing the knife to want to lean over and possibly fall out. The knife has some play in the scheeth which I have always used some paper inside and it will form to the knife once the knife is pressed into scheeth and is very secure. Over all I would recommend this highly as the blade leaves nothing to be desired. I carryed one of these everyday for about 20 years and it actually saved me from an attacker. When he saw what I had he changed his mind!
