Pros: Handle Material, Blade Sharpness, Weight, Overall Quality
I bought two of these: the price was right. The quality seems just fine on these "Taiwan" models. I regret not buying the larger Safe Keeper 1 when it was still available. However, the 3.75" blade on the SK2 is probably more practical. The Krayton handle is excellent but it is a tiny bit fatter in the hand than the new Safe Maker 1 design - a con if you have small hands. The exposed steel shank, leading to the blade, is not bad but i wrapped it with string for "just in case". Intended as a self defense / last resort. Where i live its illegal to conceal carry this BUT i can, legally, carry it openly - funny how that works out. Definitely not an EDC in my case but it would be if i were a LEO or front-line Military. Kydex sheath is what it is, the pull to release is just right, and on mine the belt clip is removable if you choose to lash it. I'm very pleased with the CS SK2.
