CS20PH: Outdoorsman Lite
Cold Steel

As a nod to the great success of our Pendleton Lite Hunter, we have decided to make more economical versions of our popular Tanto and Outdoorsman knives. They resemble their more expensive versions in that they feature similar blades, guards, handles, and pommels. The only significant change was the use of slightly thinner 4116 Krupp Stainless Steel blades, and the implementation of less costly materials in the handles.

The handles are made in two parts. They feature a Polypropylene guard, pommel, and core section, which totally envelopes the knives' full tangs. The core is then over-molded in a deeply checkered Kraton for a non-slip grip that's impervious to the elements and is easily cleaned with soap and water.

To carry your knives safely and conveniently in the field, we are including a pouch-style Cordura sheath complete with belt loop so it can be easily worn on the belt or tucked into your pack or tackle box.

Cons: None
Good camp,fishing knife.
For the $$,and actually using your knives, not just COLLECTING them, this, along with the Finn Bear, and Pndlton Lite Hunter, also the G.I. Tanto, and the CS BushMan,are FAR and AWAY Cold Steels' BEST KNIVES.I know alot will disagree with me and say that the SRK is the best overall survival/tactical/Utility knife. And while it is a great knife,it also costs at least 3x more than any of the aforementioned blades. Can it REALLY PERFORM 3x better than the GI Tanto,or the CS BushMan? I dont think,i KNOW it can't.I own all these mentioned, and while i love my SRK,it IS NOT the best deal CS offers when you throw everything into the mix.The low-end knives are.Next time you are wanting to get a new blade, and are on a tight budget, pick up on of these CS knives i have mentioned, you wont be disappointed.

Soft Target Specialist
Apples, tomatoes, potatoes, cantaloupe, spinach, all camp kitchen tasks and other soft targets as needed. Great blade geometry to facilitate slices and cuts of all types. Cold Steel cannot be beat for blade geometry design and execution. This blade is simply a devastating slicer and dicer with a strong tip for penetrating those hard to penetrate squashes. Don't let German 4116 SS turn you off. Just get a GATCO EdgeMate carbide sharpener and touch up as needed. You will not be disappointed. I did a fantastic job accidentally slicing a nerve, tendon and artery on a finger. I was impressed. The Outdoorsman Lite deserves a Secure-Ex sheath!

WOW great knife
Cold steel does it again. Full tang and razor sharp right out of the box. This is a steal at this price. I will be buying more of them. Great handle, feels solid in the hand. My new favorite hunting knife.
