CS26AST: Aluminum Ti-Lite 4"
Cold Steel®

This model has a beautiful, dark gray aluminum handle.
The Cold Steel Ti-Lite® tactical folders evoke the sleek speed and rebellious lines of the classic 1950’s-styled switchblade. Unlike most switchblades however, they are legal to carry nearly everywhere.

They feature Japanese made AUS 8A stainless steel blades with a bead blast finish, razor sharp edges and sturdy, needle sharp points. The CNC milled handles are forged from super tough 7075 Aluminum billets and are given an attractive bead blast surface and finished with a protective EDP (Electric Discharge Plating) coating. And for maximum strength and safety, we have equipped our Ti-Lites® with our patent pending, stainless steel leaf spring locks (proven, in our tests, to hold 130 lbs).

For ease of carry, the Ti-Lites® come equipped with a small, but unobtrusive steel pocket clip, and can be opened rapidly by using the thumb studs or by snagging a quillion on the edge of your pocket as you draw your knife out.

We are grateful to custom knife maker, Phil Boguszewski, for his design influence and help in the creation of the Ti-Lites.®

Pros:
Cons:
My first and hopefully only disappointment with Cold Steel
Firstly I want to say that I've had generally good experience with cold steel, owning 4 other cold steel knives, the rajah 3, the code 4 clip point, a large tanto voyager, and a counterpoint. That said, I haven't had this knife for even 3 days, and actually have not even used it in any application, so you might wonder how I'm writing a review, but I tell you, the only reason I haven't used it is because the construction is poor on it, making it not fit for use. The bolts and screws themselves are not loose, and can't be screwed in further, but the drilling in the handle is bad so the bolts can be physically pushed inwards and outwards, I'm afraid that if I use this thing the handles going to fall apart on me and I'll get the business end of the blade. The absolute best advice I can give you, pass on this knife, cold steel flopped hard on this one, opt for pretty much any one of their great Triad back locking knives over this unfortunately poor piece of workmanship.

Pros: Handle Material, Pocket Clip, Handle Feel, Weight, Overall Quality, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
EDC
Quillions are sharp, file them down, blade loosens over time, tighten it back up, thumb stud is hard push, but it flings the blad out as fast as assist. this is a great knife, take practice to open, great finish overall, good price, not a fighting knife for it has smooth scales and the quillions are sharp to your hands. there is no real way to get excellent purchase on the blade except for a downward stab, as you can thumbrest on the butt. fun EDC though.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Handle Material, Overall Quality, Pocket Clip, Ease of Opening, Handle Feel, Weight, Lock Ease of Use, Blade Material
Cons: None
Excellent tactical folder
perfect for the city, ultra sharp! lightning fast! one cool trick instead of using the thumb stud is pressing the inner/ half exposed quillion on the spine of the knife with your index finger while giving your wrist a flick and it pops out just like a switch blade. definitely my favorite folder of all time! A must have!
