CS39LABS: 39LABS Natchez Bowie
Cold Steel
"Under-The Hill" was the notoriously rowdy riverfront district of Natchez, Mississippi at the beginning of the nineteenth century. So disreputable, it was seldom mentioned in the polite drawing rooms of the antebellum mansions that dotted the other side of town during the era when cotton was king.

Our Natchez Bowie was born "Under-The-Hill" and takes its pedigree from those seedy taverns and dimly lit streets. Line-bred for battle, it's the definitive fighting Bowie. Its long blade is perfectly shaped for strength, reach and leverage, and its significant heft is flawlessly balanced, giving it unparalleled liveliness and velocity. Combine all that with its wickedly razor sharp edge and you have a knife that pierces like a dagger, cuts like a razor and chops like a cleaver!

Cold Steel Natchez
Excellent looking and well made knife. Bought it primarily for display. Not practical for carrying around. Would have preferred wood handle and leather sheath.

Great weapon
Bought the knife despite being concerned about the tang construction, I like a full tang and have spent a number of years training in the art of Japanese sword (Samurai). I like the knife its feel and balance is remarkably good for its size in fact it feels is very light in comparison to a slightly smaller full tang bowie knife that I have owned for years (no doubt due to the tang construction). I like the sheath particularly the clip effect of the mouth very much a Japanese sword trick, in fact I have removed the belt / handle strap and carry it as a I would a Japanese short sword. The cutting edge has the Japanese sword curve and is therefore extremely effective the additional blade depth / belly makes it a strong stabber. Very exciting product – use it for training (sport) much like a short sword.

Big Knife
Hi Guys, first of all- it´s a very big knife. The Quality is for this Price is ok. What I don´t like is the Fact that the sharpness of the Blade is not the same as in the Cold Steel cutting Test DvD. Well I will sharpen it by Hand with a Diamon Stone. All together it´s an wonderful old Style Bowie knife. Very good Sheath.
