amazing quality at astonishing price
I had a CS folder with Tri-Ad lock and was very impressed by the steadiness of the lock and the overall quality. I just couldn't resist trying out this very nicely balanced knife, an exception in Cold Steel's current offer which keeps on drifting to the oversized and/or tacticool side of the force.I am in no way disappointed and I must say I'm even just delighted ! Everything sits right with this knife : rock steady lock, rock steady blade (not a hint of play), max. length blade (4.25") for the length closed, easy one hand opening, perfect sharpness (slices paper right out of the box), low weight for all the knife you get, perfectly efficient clip. It's a challenge to find something to whine about. Even the "faux stag" Delrin scales look acceptable (brown instead of pink in the picture). Granted, it has none of the charm of a traditional, but at half the price it gives as much, and even more, overall quality and performance. Such a pleasure to EDC you might forget you carry a + 4" knife clipped to your pocket... Cherry on the cake : it's a bolted assembly. If you disregard the industrial/mechanical look, it deserves easily 6 stars overall.
