Description
CS58TPC: 58TPC Code-4 Clip Point
Cold Steel

There are very few things in life as comforting as knowing you are carrying a good knife. Many of our friends and colleagues in Law Enforcement talk about how they're always looking for that one faithful, reliable, lightweight knife that can become a permanent part of their every day load out.

When designing our Code 4 series we took inspiration from that feeling of reliability and developed a knife that we believe is destined to become the standard embodiment of dependability.

We created an ultra-thin, ultra-light, highly functional utility knife that is incredibly comfortable to carry all day. It won't weigh down your uniform or provide the kind of unnecessary bulk that may cause you to leave the knife at home, causing you to be unprepared in your time of need. Invariably, the best knife for the job is the one you have with you!

Available in a variety of blade configurations, with an ambidextrous pocket clip and thumb studs, the Code 4 series feature sturdy, hard-anodized gun metal grey 6061 Aluminum handles, the unparalleled strength of our world renowned and exclusive Tri-Ad lock and high satin polished, razor sharp Japanese AUS8A blades.

Make a Code 4 part of your daily carry to experience the peace of mind that comes from knowing you’ll always have a truly great high performance folder when you need one.

sturdy knifw
Happy with the knife's weight, balance, and overall usefulness. I like the security of triad regardless if it is a bit stiff to unlock.

Cons: Handle Material, None
great product
very good work for CS, really very good! The knife weight like many 2 inches but is a full 3 and half (perfect for an EDC) and is very thin but is a tough knife. While not " razorsharp" is very sharp , lock is more than " strong" and, probably, is one of the stronger on market. Overall quality is not impressive but for the price is very very good. I don't like very much metal handles because are hot in summer, cold in winter and are slippery with sweat or blood or water but is my personal taste and I must say is very well countured for excellent ergonomics.

Another fine knife from Cold Steel
I have owned an old style large voyager (plastic clip) for many years. Use it on the job as a lighting technician, cutting cable, cardboard, etc. The Code 4 is very similar in most respects, only 1/2 inch shorter blade w aluminum scales. Love it in all respects. It took a few days for the stiffness to disappear, and I pried the clip out slightly to prevent my pocket from shredding. Highly recommended, great value for the money. Razor sharp out of the box, hefty weight, but slim profile, and very classy. Bought two more as gifts, which are being engraved. Expect to use it for many years like my old voyager, which I still use as a back up, incidentally.
