CS59KBNZ: Cold Steel Kitchen Classic Boning Knife 6" Blade
Cold Steel

Cold Steel's new series of kitchen knives, the Kitchen Classics, will race through just about any task you can imagine. Theses blades are ice tempered and then precision flat ground for maximum cutting power. All models in the series come with a razor sharp edge that lasts and lasts, and some have serrated edges uniquely appropriate to the tasks they were designed to do. The handles are, in a word, terrific! Carefully designed to ensure a strong, secure, yet comfortable grip, they feature a stiff Zytel® core on the inside, with a softer, deeply checkered rubbery exterior for a the kind of non-slip grip that must be felt to be appreciated!

Pros:
Cons:
unimpressed
i realized the price point on these knives is low... that being said the knife feels rather cheap in the hand. the factory edge was sharp, but retention was horrible. i own a forschner boning knife, this was bought as a backup... i plan to do a regrind on it but i expected a little more out of this knife.

Cold Steel Boning Knife
Bought as replacement for knife that needed a new handle (sent into repair ofter years of use). Wife loves them and would not be without it while it was in for warranty. They sharpen easily when needed. Kraton (soft plastic) handle is comfortable and not slippery when wet. Wife thinks they are better than her Cutco knives that she gave to our daughter when she got these!
