CS59KPZ Paring Knife
Cold Steel's new series of kitchen knives, the Kitchen Classics, will race through just about any task you can imagine. Theses blades are ice tempered and then precision flat ground for maximum cutting power. All models in the series come with a razor sharp edge that lasts and lasts, and some have serrated edges uniquely appropriate to the tasks they were designed to do. The handles are, in a word, terrific! Carefully designed to ensure a strong, secure, yet comfortable grip, they feature a stiff Zytel® core on the inside, with a softer, deeply checkered rubbery exterior for a the kind of non-slip grip that must be felt to be appreciated!

Great for the money or any price for that matter.
I was looking for a good kitchen paring knife. I read the reviews and purchased two different knives. Of these the Cold Steel was the best by far. It came sharp right out of the package. It has a good, sturdy feel. The handle is thick enough to provide a comfortable grip. I have not tried to sharpen it as of yet so I cannot comment on its ease of sharpening. I usually am pretty particular on what I buy, but would definitely say you won't be hurt on this purchase. Excellent for the money.

Well made with a minor drawback
When receiving it it looked like the two small knobs on the back might be plugging a hole and thus be removable. That would be an added bonus for me since I keep this type of knife hanging by the stove. But alas. They're molded knobs, there to just tart the knife up. Otherwise it's a good, sharp, cheap knife. Cold Steel quality.

Business Class
This is a working knife. It cuts stuff. It's cheap. I won't frame it on the wall, but it gets a lot of use.
