Awesome axe, Great for defense.
This Axe will never break, had mine for over 15 years and chopped many trees down and cuts through anything else you might want out of your way. The blade is sharp and easy to sharpen on a grinder wheel or a sharpening block:the grinder wheel is much easier and makes it very sharp almost scalpel sharp. The back of the head also makes for a good light sledge hammer or just a hammer. Easy to wield in a combat situation you can choose to hack or bash an opponent, if in danger and the whole axe being solid steel head to handle it is great for blocking a sharp weapon being swung at you. This world may go into turmoil and a great axe like this if all you could carry would be a great defensive plus utility tool. This is a deadly weapon in the hands of someone using it, it reach and easy manueverability, make it good to bring on multiple blows withe blade or blunt hammer side. One more important fact is that the blade is built tuff but also thin enough to slide out quick of whatever has been struck allowing you to rapidly repeat more blows or strikes into the object or attacker but hopefully only trees, but you never know what else you might have to swing at to save your life. For the money this Axe is perfect beyond perfect. I know I may seem extreme or crazy about it's use as a combat weapon, but trust me buy one or just hold it for a bit and you will realize this can protect my life in many ways.
