Pros: Durability, Ease of Use, Effectiveness, Overall Quality
The machine was used at a knife sharpening booth. Approximately 50 knives were sharpened throughout the day. The machine was easy to keep clean because of the pull out blade section. We did turn it off when not in use to keep the motor from heating up. We found stage one to be very aggressive at times. It's best to do 2 quick passes on stage one and then use stage two more often. Before using one should also check which side of the knife has the blade edge and only use that side on stage one. We had only one customer complaint at the knife sharpening booth. This was from a person who is used to sharpening with a stone and likes the knives a certain way.
