Pros: Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Handle Feel, Lock Type, Blade Material, None
Cons: Ease of Opening
More difficult to deploy wave feature than smaller emerson knives
I own a Mini CQC7 and the wave feature works flawlessly. Because of the sheer weight/friction of the larger blade, it is more difficult to deploy using the wave feature and sometimes hangs in the half open position. When I say more difficult, I mean you you need to apply significantly more rearward force when pulling from pocket to achieve frame lock. The blade opens much easier when I loosen the blade retaining bolt, but this yields some blade wobble in the locked position. However, the lockup is still excellent and I would completely trust it to never fold during "hard use". Once in hand the handle shape is a perfect fit, thumb gimping is robust, and in a self defense situation this would be my most trusted defensive weapon.

A knifes knife
There really is nothing more to say about this that hasn't been said. Everything you need and nothing you don't. Emerson hits grand slams consistently with his knives. I'd rank this puppy at top of list, along with Spyderco paramilitary 2, cold steel voyager, and benchmade griptillian. Out performs them all, but it sits in good company. Way worth the price
