Not just any Karambit
Emerson are fantastic with tactical knives. That said if you are a collector then a Karambit is a must have piece. Here you get the best of both worlds - a quality product from Emerson and a high end Karambit. The blade is extremely sharp 154CM and has a good action to it - not too fast but not too tight. The liner lock feels secure and strong. I understand the use of G10 for the handle scales, and they are very grippy, but I do feel that this material is a bit overused and common nowadays. Personally another material would have been preferred but if you offered me another karambit from a different manufacturer I would still choose Emerson.

Typical Emerson Excellence
This knife shows typical Emerson build quality and attention to detail. It meets all the requirements of a proper folding karambit (indeed, defines most of them), and comes from the factory with a lethal edge and tip. The geometry and ergonomics are outstanding, also as typical of Emerson. Be advised, large hands may find the knife just a touch small, but the Super Karambit is not really a substitute. This Combat Karambit is the correct size for actual use in the proper style. The wave feature works very well on this knife in the reverse grip.
