The Badger blade measures 3.375" in length with a 0.18" thick blade. This small hunter mirrors its namesake, the Badger. The overall length is only 8.125" making this a very carryable and useful knife for small- to medium-sized game, camping and utility. Entrek USA is a knife line brought about by internationally known knifemaker Ray W. Ennis. The purpose of this line is to bring the high quality of the custom knife to the public at a factory-made price. In order to bring this about, a combination of the latest technologies and old fashioned skilled hand work is used. All knives are made from 440C stainless steel for a combination of toughness, edge holding and corrosion resistance. Blades are heat treated to 57-58 RC. Handles are made from black canvas Micarta which not only looks great and allows a very good gripping surface but is also impervious to normal heat, cold, oil, water and other factors that would normally destroy most materials. The sheath is formed from .060 Kydex with brass eyelets to make a strong lightweight belt carry.

heres the beef
this is an excellent knife for the money, better than others costing 2 or 3 times as much. although these are production knives, they have the feel and finish of a custom. The steel is a heat/cryogenicly treated 440c, extremely hard. The canvas macarta slabs are (bead blasted?) not the polished variety, great feel even when wet. Great contours,a little handle heavy but its a small knife and has a very balanced feel. Not super sharp out of the box, but my sharpmaker took care of that, holds a nice edge. I rarely carry a fixed blade outside of hunting or camping but I carry this one. The kydex sheath fits the knife well, my only pick with this set up is the belt clip, this needs a little work, sometimes comes out with the knife. The finish on all the steel is bead blasted, nice, but I polished the spine and all around the tang, now its mine. Really nice little(3" cutting edge) camp/bushcraft/utility knife with plenty to hold on to. Good bang for the buck.

Build like a tank
Best smaal fixed blade ever! Built like a tank, super sharp holds an edge very well, very good grip even when soakedl Only flaw is the belt clip. It just comes of your belt when you extract the knife. Entrek should beter use the Blade Tech CLIP(not the Tech Lock)! Never had one of those coming of my belt but very easy to take of without loosening the belt. Would give it a perfect 5 if not for the belt clip issue.
