FEPD32R5: PD32 LED Flashlight
Fenix PD Series

The Fenix PD Series leads the way in high brightness, compact size LEDs. With a newly designed reflector, it has achieved even better beam shots than its predecessors. The series has an improved grip with an attractive, criss-cross diamond shape pattern for safe, anti-slip handling.

Each light in the PD Series is made of aircraft grade aluminum and features a durable Type III hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish, digitally regulated output levels to maintain constant brightness, and a toughened ultra-clear glass lens with anti-reflective coating. All lights are waterproof to the IPX-8 standard capable of standing up securely on a flat surface to serve as a candle.

Great Light Series
The Fenix line is great overall, anyway, and the keychain lights even rock. The PD30/31/32 models are also great for lights on rifles and shotguns, using improvised mounts such as the shotgun magazine tube extension bands, and in the case of one, two opposing pocket clips through the front handguards of my Kel Tec PLR-16. I even managed to get the red filter on it, as it is my back up/search light for the little gun. One PD 31 is even mounted beneath the barrel of my old Ithaca Riot Shotgun. Knife Center needs to get the rest of the PD Fenix line back on board!

Buy this
If I could I would give this ten stars. It is well built, amazingly bright, takes 18650's, and 70 bucks. I have had mine for a year at christmas 2011 and no problems. I bought an 800 lumen tk35 as well and had problems, but it will be back from service soon. I wouldn't consider any of the expensive brands as I would feel like I was getting ripped off.

Fenix PD30
I bought mine locally about 4 years back. I'am writing the review in the PD32 section as the PD30 model I bought doesn't exist anymore but essentially the PD32 is the "facelifted" replacement for the PD30. Build quality is good for the price compared to a Surefire. Light output is powerful (I use it with the bike mounts for night time mountain biking at the local trails). I've used mine also for mechanic work and its held up to being dropped, oil and fuel spills and some knocks. It just has a few scratches here and there but no dents or cracks on the lens yet. I'am using some no brand rechargeable CR123 LiFE batteries. They don't last as long as non-rechargeable ones on the maximum output of the light. I'd recommend going for any non-rechargeable lithium batteries.
