DescriptionFFKAREB: Model 7 KarebFerrum Forge
As far as Persian knives go, this new Folder from Ferrum Forge is the cream of the crop. The Kareb flipper is one good looking, ferocious folder with an ideal sizer for both EDC and tactical situations. The 3.5" upswept Persian blade is made of 20CV steel with a matte finish that's really like a cross between bead blast and stonewash. The finger choil is definitely on the smaller side but with typical Ferrum Forge insight, they did not extend the blade grind the full length, giving you about 1/10" of dull blade to protect your finger as your grip it. The choil is functional for better blade control and also gives you a point on the blade to sharpen from - which always helps when it comes time to get an edge back on it. The blade rides on ceramic thrust bearings and with the Hoback Rolling Detent it absolutely flies out of the handle, while still being very unlikely to open in the pocket. There is a steel insert to prevent overtravel and a replaceable lockbar insert should the blade ever develop play. The handle is the highlight of this knife for it's sleek look, ergonomic curve, and perfect size. Whether you have small, medium, or extra large hands - this knife just seems to feel right someway, somehow. It's made from milled Titanium with a low-reflectivity, matte anodized finish. The pocket clip is a new design from Steve Kelly Ti as is the new one-piece pivot assembly, which is adjustable with a torx screw. The knife will make an excellent safe queen, tactical user, or EDC blade - it's a near perfect knife from Ferrum Forge. Comes in a very nice Dog Tag ID’d soft case to protect your investment.
