Description
FM200003: Alfa Benetti Primal Force Fixed Blade
Fremont Knives

The Primal Force fixed blade is a no nonsense tactical knife designed for close quarter battle and operational utility. The tough, full tang, Chrome-Moly blade and Micarta scales remain corrosion-free in the harshest environments. A balance of Carbon, Vanadium, Manganese and other elements create steel hardness without being brittle. Strong enough to break the bands on ammo crates or dig a fighting hole. Drop point and shallow belly combine to create a point sharp enough to pierce ballistic weave. The heel of the full tang blade is sharpened from hardened steel for shattering auto glass or cracking skulls with Primal Force. Deeply textured Micarta scales for a solid grip in all conditions.

Crafted from non-reflective materials, this is a full-sized fighting / utility knife in a compact yet lethal length. Tension-retained in a minimalist, Kydex sheath designed for wearing on your body not strapped to your equipment. One never knows when they must jettison their gear.

BEST VALUE FIXED BLADE?
Amazing product for only 15 bucks? I took a risk at buying this product without being able to find any reviews on it. Look up"Alfa Benetti tactical knife" for reviews. It makes sense to me why this thing was originally $80. It has an ergonomic hand, fits mine well (large hands). This knife feels heavy (nice and thick steel) Perfect balance point on the first finger groove. I should add that the ergonomics are outstanding. The "jimping" on the thumb area is too deep into the steel to be useful, that said, the shape of the spine is great and fits my thumb very well. Beautiful micarta handles are attached with what looks like #8 torque screws (could be wrong). Not designed to be used with gloves, in my opinion. The blade shape is great for self defense, medium curvature and a good tip, and hollow grind. Knife also doesn't say "made in china" so you can fool your friends into thinking it's even special...er.... The sheath is made out of kydex (real kydex) and was a little dusty on the inside... That said, it has a drain hole (awesome) and weighs next to nothing. Overall, the knife and sheath can fit inside a medium sized pair of jean pocket NO PROBLEM. CONS: spine of blade pokes out from the micarta scales. Although this isn't noticeable in my hand, it certainly adds unnecessary weight. Reverse grip is possible, but doesn't feel like a good idea. Micarta is a little rough on some areas, but it's nothing that some sandpaper can't fix. Belt clip on sheath is not rotational. Also the sheath only has two rivet holes on the top part of the sheath.

Great Starter Survival Knife
First let me tell you the positives. Micarta Handles which is very nice. Next Kydex Sheath which is no joke on this knife. The Steel is pretty Good. It came shave ready. Now for the negatives the Blade came with a small chip, nothing a good sharpening couldn't fix but still. Overall I would recommend this to anyone who is starting their bug out bag.
