Description
FT2080: Mora Knife Bushcraft 2080
Morakniv

Morakniv, formerly Frost of Sweden, produces great knives at very reasonable prices. The Morakniv Bushcraft 2080 is no exception. Fairly simple knife fixed triflex carbon steel blade with a red sturdy olive-colored plastic handle. The tough, plastic sheath comes with a 360° flexible belt loop that will fit a belt just under 2-1/2" wide.

Triflex is harder and very resistant to breakage compared to a stainless steel blade. It is also easy to light a fire with a Triflex blade and a fire steel. Triflex is not stainless and should therefore be handled accordingly.

Pros: Overall Quality, Materials, Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard
Cons: None
Simple and Solid
This is a great knife. I use it for camping, fishing, and general cutting. I have not had any rust issues. Just keep the knife dry and you will be fine. Be aware that this knife does not strike a fire-steel well at all, so make sure you have a striker. The sheath moves with you and I find that I don't have to remove it while sitting or moving around a lot.

Almost Perfect
I primarily use this knife for bushkraft and day hikes. Perfect handle in my opinion fits perfectly into the hand and very grippy! The blade is adequately thick and Triflex steel is brilliant I live close to the sea and havent faced any rust issues. Put a coat of WD40 on the blade once a month and your good to go. It comes hair popping sharp! The sheath can use some improvement it has no locking capability and limited carrying options. I was slightly disappointed with the finish on the blade as it had 2 medium size scratches and the logo looked smudged. Not such a big deal as this is isn't a very expensive knife. In conclusion: Bang for your buck Will last you well over a decade (if taken care of) This is the best Mora out of the collection in my opinion. Will buy more and recommended it to friends. My first review and purchase from KC !!
