Pros: Overall Quality, Durability
Great first straight razor
It may seem too big at first, but after using it for a week the size and stiffness are actually positives. It's easy and predictable. After about a week and a half I can get very good close shaves. These and most razors (even "shave-ready") need a small amount of touch up before and between each use. I have an old leather belt from Goodwill with some green polishing paste from Lowe's on it that I use as a strop. It cost me less than $10 total and works very well with proper technique for keeping this where it needs to be. This is normal and not a negative.I'm very happy with mine. Be careful to dry it as I left one drop on it for a day and have a spot of rust there. I usually store it in my room instead of the bathroom just to make sure.
