The lower part of the sheath is molded glass-filled nylon that secures the blade while the ballistic nylon upper allows the user to carry the knife in a variety of ways: secured with a belt loop, attached to any MOLLE system (comes with two MALICE clips), or fixed to a standard thigh holster mount.

Cons: None
My second one....
This is the first time I have ever purchased the same knife again! Yari #1 has proven the be my go-to knife. Woods, range, street - you name it. I got tired of moving it back and forth between things so I have purchased this one - Yari #2. The sheath system will go on anything and the knife itself fits my hand just right, the grip has no sharp edges and the blade is indestructable. If it wasn't for the serrations I would say it is the perfect fixed blade in my eyes.

Good buy at the discounted price
This is a versatile and comfortable light knife package with no major drawbacks. The sheath is snug, light, ambidextrous, adjustable, and can be bolted directly onto a holster should you wish to do so. The premium steel blade sharpens up nicely and holds it's edge well, and the handle remains secure in the hand in wet or dry weather. This knife isn't quite substantial enough for extended, heavy-duty outdoor work. I do not think much of Cold Steel-esque "tanto" blades, nor of partial serrations; they both serve to reduce the useful cutting surface on this knife. I suppose I would rate this higher, though, if I liked both of those elements. At the sale price point, though, it is a pretty good choice for light-to-medium-duty work.

Additional Information
I wrote a review of the Yari II in June, can't say that anything has changed other than I have learned that the sheath is a 'direct bolt-on' to the Black Hawk Tactical Drop Holster. Having everything you might need with you and still being able to reach all of it can be an 'issue' in some circumstance. Being able to have a solid knife accessible right next to (well more 'in front of') your handgun, without being in the way or impeding your draw might be a consideration for some. This is probably all that important to many Yari II owners but I wanted to mention it for the small percentage who might need it.
