this is one sad tool
If you think the Leatherman Surge is big then your miss taken.This is huge....! This is one model from gerber which is a big failure....just wish gerber will just take it of the rack...The scissors came faulty,the plier handles look like they will break under pressure. This is not a tool to be carried around.....its embarrassing.

Plastic handle not so strong.
I used this product for about two weeks. I was tightening the idle screw on my carb and the handle snapped in to two. Not strong at all. I'm giving it two stars only because I still use the included tools and they work fine.

Too big for comfort
Personally I tried using this multi-tool because I was in a pinch and needed one. but it just couldn't preform. the handle felt like it was too cheap and was going to break. the spring assist is nice for multi tools but i've got to be sure the tool wont break on me. over all this tool is very thick and bulky. I carry a leatherman surge on me everyday which is one of the heaviest of the leatherman line and the Radius is still bigger. The external blade(which i like on a tool) is very short and kinda awkward. over all this is Gerber quality which was my first multi tool but its nothing like my trusty old Gerber. I would personally suggest you spend the money on a leatherman Wave or SOG Powerlock
