GB7500: Multi-Plier 600 - Bluntnose Carbide Inserts

Thanks to feedback we received from our men and women in uniform, we toughened up our Multi-Plier 600s by adding our patented replaceable tungsten carbide wire cutters to this already popular tool. When the cutters become dull or misshapen simply rotate the tungsten carbide cutters 120-degrees, and you've got yourself a good-as-new wire cutter. After three rotations, the entire cutter can be replaced.

carbide insert cutters SUCK!
Older Gerbers had permanent cutters. Never let me down and I've used them for 20+ years for cutting wire (Special event production/installation). The carbide insert cutter leaves a gap at the base of the cutter that invariably catches the wire and will not cut it. Idiotic system. Highly UNrecommended!

Broke both carbide inserts cutting woven wire
the older version had a better wire cutter system.I broke the carbide inserts the first time I used it to cut fence wire. All the other features are great.

Gerber 600 multi-tool is the best I have ever used
The reason I made my recent purchase is I lost the Gerber multi-tool I have been carrying for the past 15 yeads or so. I use this tool several times a day and feel lost if I leave the house without it.The tool will last for ever but the canvas shealth will not.In the past I replaced the sheath with a leather one.
