IXL6061: IXL Wostenholm 10" Classic California Bowie, Stag
Classic 10" I*XL California Bowie is based of the knife that found fame during the Californian Gold Rush. The clip shaped blade is made from EN9 carbon steel and is hardened and tempered before being hand ground and finished by skilled Sheffield craftsmen. The knife has a brass guard and a coffin shaped handle which is fitted to the through tang using brass linings and pins. The ricasso is stamped on the top side "I*XL Sheffield, England" and on the reverse side "G. Wostenholm, Washington Works, none are genuine but those marked I*XL". The blade is deep acid etched with "Geo. Wostenholm & Son Celebrated CALIFORNIA KNIFE," the American Bald Eagle and "Equal Rights". There are a variety of handle choices available - Rosewood, Buffalo, and Stag Horn with Brass End Caps. Put your own personal touch on these with a sheath of your choosing or the manufacturer's leather sheath available separately and this will definitely a package that will last generations.
