Pros: Weight, Handle Material, Lock Type
THE KNIFE THAT DIDN'T SAY "UNCLE".
Despite the fact that this knife does not have a 5 3/8 inch blade, as often advertised in the past, but rather a puny little four inch blade, I have to admit that this knife, considering its price, is the real thing. There is nothing but brute strength and excellent engineering here. It is heavy and it locks up like a Gator’s jaw on a spring lamb. The clip is just right and you can put it on either side so long as you like tip up. It is not easy to open but neither is an access door on a M1 tank. If you do buy this thing you should remember that you can no doubt do as much damage to something by simply throwing this monster at it as using it in the conventional way. Hang On. You will understand that joke when you get this thing in the mail. But seriously now, this knife would not have been nearly as spot-on if it were anything but a lockback. That and every other aspect of this knife adds up to a real winning combination of decisions in the design and construction of this knife. You defiantly won’t want to take this knife to the Mall or your kids soccer practice but in the back country or hunting or on a weekend trip to Bananastan it would be right at home.
