Description
KCCM50CF: Kyocera Advanced Ceramics Coffee Grinder
Kyocera

This ceramic coffee grinder features a ceramic grinding mechanism that will never alter the flavor of the grinds, resulting in fresh, flavorful, and pure coffee. The grinding mechanism is made from an advanced ceramic close in hardness to diamond that will never rust, providing ultra long-life performance. The grind adjustment allows for fine to coarse grinds and the non-slip base ensures stability. The glass container is re-usable and dishwasher safe.

In addition to all of this, it is a hand cranked grinder, meaning that it does not draw electricity. This and the small size make it not only eco-friendly, but great for travel.

Great for Turkish coffee, salt, pepper, green tea & sesame seeds too!

works very well for A Turkish grind
I wanted a grinder that would give me the powdery grind needed for Turkish coffee. This product was offered cheaper elsewhere but after reviewing the pictures on the website it looks as if the product on that site was a knock-off. What I received from knivecenter.com was a Kyocera product and it works to perfection. I'm glad i bought this one as the other site would have probably ended up as a return.

Armstrong Power
After two corded grinders failed in two years I decided to give a manual grinder a shot. Already owning a couple of Kyocera ceramic knives and impressed with their quality I purchased this model. Primarily used for coffee, after a dozen uses, I can say it fills the bill completely. Yes, it absolutely takes longer to grind for a pot of joe, but the grind is consistent, the effort to grind is minimal, the glass receptacle gets no static charge and is a breeze to clean, constructed of quality materials and designed simply, it also provides a few minutes of meditation while turning the crank. NO cords, NO screaming siren wail, NO large shelf space taken up by a soon to fail appliance. I fully expect years of service from this grinder.
