decent, but much prettier in the picture....
than in the metal. mine came with a slight curve to the forged handle. the obvious curve forward as designed, but mine also has a curve to the left while holding it in your right hand. possibly the way it's designed, but if so the curve isn't very uniform or pretty. it's makes it look like a cheap production flaw. it came sharp on most of the blade, but not the top 1/8" or bottom 1/8". quality control is lacking, but for the 26 or so something bucks i can't complain too much. it works, and works fairly well for a one hand small compact chopper. truth be told i can do just as well with a big bushcraft knife like a condor hudson bay, though. so it isn't going to be useful if i want to minimize what i carry, as i can accomplish the same tasks just as well with a big chopping knife. the sheath is not good. it's a very thin plastic that will eventually crack and fail. nice that it came with a belt carrying sheath, but the quality and design is garabge, imho. all in all if you want a small, one hand, cheap, all steel, chopping axe, this will work, but if your planning on limiting what you bring with you on a trip, look for something larger and bring a big bushcraft style knife, instead. ymmv, of course.
