Description
KS1288: Proressional Grade | 8" Chef's Knife
Kershaw Knives

If you’re catching, filleting, and butchering, you’re definitely cooking. This is the perfect multi-purpose Chef’s knife for your galley or campsite. Part of Kershaw’s line of Pro-Grade Specialty Fish & Game Knives, it features premium 420J2 stainless steel with just the right degree of flex to make the job easier. The handle is a proven design that really lets your hand lock into place. In addition, all Pro-Grade knives are designed to be lightweight so fish and game processing is less tiring. Comes complete with its own blade protector. Just slide them on to protect your razor sharp edge (and your gear). Slits in the guard allow air to circulate.

I'm with that Angel guy. I like to cook and I have every knife that comes with that black bag. I only use two. My paring knife and my 8 in. Chinese egletabve knife (or so that's what someone called it). It looks like a chef's knife but curves at the business end. Get good ones, though. In the store you'll see them from $ 20-$ 50 each. So know what you want to do in the kitchen. These knives are carbon/steel. I don't know the carbon percentage, sorry. And when you get your block NEVER store them blade side down, always up so to keep your edge. Have fun, I know I do.
