First knife, and it's perfect!
Got tired of using box cutters around the house and decided to get a folding pocket knife. Wanted something not too big, not too small, that I could carry comfortably. After loading up my Knife Center wish list with about 20 possibilities (almost too much information), I started the process of elimination, finally settling on this blade. I made a great choice. Happy with the size, weight and assisted opening. Also, it's plenty sharp and it's RED, which I like. Of course, a few knives remain on my KC list, so I'm probably not going to get away with buying just one.

Kershaw scallion
Good quality build, feels solid but not bulky. Quite compact, blade is super sharp and the blade shape makes it perfect for slicing things open. Assited opening works excellent, fast and snaps the blade into place.

Cons: Lock Ease of Use, Lock Type, None
I loved the knife and gave it to my girl who loved the color. The only thing I wasn't excite about was the extra safety lock at the bottom of the knife. It makes the knife "safer" as not to be automatically opened inside your pocket, but I have another Kershaw without the safety and it's never opened accidentally in my pocket. You could always ignore the safety and use the knife withouth it... the only problem is if the safety is engaged by accident (already happened to me), then you can't really "ignore" it. Not a huge problem, but definately not something I liked. Other than that, we loved the knife.
