KS1770: OD-2
Kershaw Knives

Kershaw’s OverDrive-2 was created to give you the “OverDrive” style you want at a value price. Designed by Lee Williams, this larger OD-2 has a blade of 8CR13MOV stainless steel to take and hold its edge well. The glass-filled nylon handle provides stability, rigidity, and a non-slip grip. Of course, the OD-2 is one of our Flipper knives. Just pull back on the blade protrusion and flick your wrist forward slightly and knife will open smoothly and lock in place. But the OD offers a twist on the basic Flipper. Once the blade is open, the blade protrusion folds into a recess in the liner to give the OD-2 a sleek, smooth line all the way down.

Cons: Blade Sharpness, None
Love this little knife!
I use this knife as an EDC. I work in an office and used to carry the benchmade mini griptilian, but was constantly getting comments about my "huge" knife etc. This knife is the perfect size for me. I didn't want to go with one of those $12 plastic handled buck or case knives. I wanted something a little more substantial. This knife feels solid. There's no play in the blade, which is high quality steel BTW. The flip mechanism works as well as an assisted open knife. The shape of the blade is nice and good looking too. The only drawback is that it didn't come very sharp, but that's not a huge deal to me. I can always sharpen it.

This is a miniature version of a kershaw knife that I've been carrying for about seven years. They discontinued the larger version which has become my favorite knife. I found this miniature replica a few months ago and even at its size it is still a great addition to my collection. I just purchased 3 more to get ahead of the Christmas rush. For the price I cannot find a better knife for my six year old son, my six year old nephew and my 25 year old brother in law.
