Cons: None
Nice carpenter blade
As far as I knew, from Kershaw's website, this knife is not 13c26 but 14C28N Sandvik steel. Both are great steels but the properties are different. This knife for the money is great. Nice SpeedSafe setup as it works well. The blade itself is a nice hollow ground blade and very sharp. Holds an edge well. The clip works well but unless you have some really loose jeans, this knife will feel awkward in your pants pocket. Overall it's a good quality to the blade.

Great EDC from Kershaw
This is another great EDC for Kershaw. I like everything about this one except the clip. It's not too bad just a little short and stiff. Not a big deal at all tho`.It's made using Sandvik 13c26 which is a very good steel. It takes and holds a razor edge. I'd say it compares too 440 c very well, but will hold it's razor edge a bit longer. Also it's a bit more satin resistant.Which makes it of of my favorite steels for everyday use. While it may not be a super steel it holds it's own with a lot of very good steel. I'd say it's very close to holding it's edge just short of ATS 34,but it's more stain resistant than ATS 34 is.The ore used in making it is some of the purest available. Helping make Sandvik line of different steels among the top makers of high quality steel.Resharpening is very easy to do also I think 13c26 is a very under rated steel. I'm not sure as to why this is?Maybe there aren't a lot of people who have really tried 13c26? It's deceptively lite compared to how it looks. The assisted opening works very well it has a very positive lockup.Another plus it's made here in the US.It also helps make it a bargain considering this. Overall all if your looking for a very good well made carry knife I'd tell anyone to give this one a try.
