Kershaw Knives

Spice up your knife collection with the Needs Work. This tough, versatile knife demands to be put to work—on any cutting task you may have. Built for precise function and top performance, the Needs Work is a lightweight utility-style knife that’s great for everyday carry. The blade is Sandvik 13C26, a stainless steel that provides high hardness as well as excellent corrosion and wear resistance. The handle is made of contoured Polyimide®, an engineering polymer that exhibits an exceptional combination of thermal stability and mechanical toughness. The NW features the patented Ken Onion SpeedSafe assisted opening system for smooth, easy opening. A locking liner ensures the blade stays securely in place until the user closes it. For convenient carrying, a removable pocket clip is also included.

Pros: Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness, Ease of Opening, Weight, Pocket Clip
Cons: None
Unique and well built.
I use this blade for everyday things like opening mail and cutting up boxes and random things like slicing fruit while on a lunch break. Its big enough to be useful but small enough so as not to cause a stir around others. Its made extremely well and comes with a razor sharp edge. The open assist is probably the best I've come across. The blade flies open and locks itself with a very audible "clack". The clip is compact and gets the job done. I'm very happy with this unique blade.

Pros: Handle Material, Blade Material, Lock Ease of Use, Handle Feel, Overall Quality, Ease of Opening, Blade Sharpness
Cons: None
Nice carpenter blade
As far as I knew, from Kershaw's website, this knife is not 13c26 but 14C28N Sandvik steel. Both are great steels but the properties are different. This knife for the money is great. Nice SpeedSafe setup as it works well. The blade itself is a nice hollow ground blade and very sharp. Holds an edge well. The clip works well but unless you have some really loose jeans, this knife will feel awkward in your pants pocket. Overall it's a good quality to the blade.
