Excellent knife for cleaning deer size game
Bought a Black Gulch back in 1990 cause I wanted a good folder for cleaning game, little did I know what a great knife it is, now after more than a dozen deer and even more hogs it still is almost sharp enough to shave with. I never let it get too dull even when skinning out something, always have a pocket steel and a diamond rod to keep the blade from getting dull, maintain a good edge and never let it get in bad shape. Bought this one for my Grandson now that he is hunting so he will have a good knife and showing him how to keep the edge up. I own about eight Kershaw knifes, I think it's the best production knife you can buy, my everyday carrier is a small Kershaw folder...Never leave home without it.....

I Have Bought Many Of These Through The Years. My Only Problem Is I Give Them Away As Gifts Because They Impress. They Look Fantastic Not Cheap. Open up smoothly, Lock Up Like A Vault And Are Shaving Sharp. I Am About Two Get Two More, Hope To Keep One For Myself This Time. One I Have Been Using For Years Is The Kershaw Black Colt A Similar Folder With A Rubber Grip. Does Not Look As Pretty But it Works As Well. I Hope They Never Stop Making Them.
