Lockback
Lockback
The original locking mechanism. It can be found mid spine or at the bottom of the handle, and it provides tight lockup that will wear well.
Leather Sheath
Leather Sheath
Leather is known for its durability and traditional appeal. When compared to kydex it is preferred for its silence when bumped against other objects, as well as blade retention.
Bone Handles
Bone Handles
One of the most common natural materials used in knife making, bone handles are usually textured to provide grip and can be dyed almost any color.
8CR13 Stainless Steel
8CR13 Stainless Steel
Considered a value steel, 8Cr13 steel provides adequate corrosion resistance but with slightly more carbon than AUS-8, it will sharpen up and hold an edge better.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Lock Type, Ease of Opening, Overall Quality, Handle Material, Lock Ease of Use, Weight, Sheath, Handle Feel, Blade Material
Cons: None
No weaknesses
This knife is an excellent example of the traditional lockback. A good thing is the thong hole bored in the butt end, useful for working over water. Am surprised at the price - perhaps such lockbacks are unfashionable now.
