Description
KS4335: Whiplash
Kershaw Knives

The Kershaw Whiplash has the kind of dramatic looks that are sure to turn a few heads. But, believe us, this is the kind of Whiplash you want. This bold, military-style fixed-blade knife has a built-in parachute cord lanyard. Pull the tab at the butt of the knife to release the elasticized lanyard, wrap it around your wrist, and you’re good to go. For an even more secure grip, the Whiplash features extra-large thumb notches and an oversized index-finger notch. For hardness and strength, the blade is 8CR14 stainless steel with matte-black PVD coating. Includes sheath for easy carry and storage.

Pros: Blade Material, Materials, Handle Material, Weight, Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality, None
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard
Lightweight, fun
Very light, fits the hand well despite the funky looks. Good texture on the G10. Feels more solid that it looks. Plenty sharp, good for detail work. Not sure if this is a "tactical" kife even with all the features, but as lightweight for backpacking, EDC? Sure, once I get around to making a nice Kydex sheath for it. The sheath is bulky, shoddy and a joke. Nylon canvas meets deep, sharp spines? I don't know how quickly the knife will chew through this rubbish sheath, but mine is well on its way.

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Handle Material, Weight, Overall Quality, None
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, Materials
Great Price Decent Quality
Not a bad knife. Nobody will complain the jimping will fail. The choil of the knife is plenty strong. Would make a good intro outdoors knife or light military carry knife. I don't like the rubber lanyard tab...will probably teat with use and you'll wind up cutty it off. Sheath is functional but nothing to brag about. Price is fantastic.
