Developed by Chris Reeve, it functions like a liner lock but the lock is comprised of one of the handle scales. It's an extremely strong and easy to manipulate lock.
Pocket Clip
Pocket Clip
Includes a pocket clip for easy accessibility and a more secure carry.
A tougher steel than S30V, it retains the excellent corrosive properties and ability to take an edge, but improves on the ability to hold that edge.

A nonferrous metal, it's prized for its high strength to weight ratio and is often used on higher end knives.

Cons: None
Wonderful surprise
This was my first Kizer knife and it was a wonderful surprise. It is a great knife especially for the lesser price. Beautiful coloring on the handle. Opening and closing is totally smooth. The blade is centered when closed. Ergonomics are great with no hot spots. I hope my next Kizer knife is as good as this one. And finally, the packaging was first rate. It came in a nice box that has a sleave. But better was that it came with an extra screw and a cloth with the Kizer logo on it like a Chris Reeve Knife. This was a great purchase.

killing the competition
It really all comes down to value in the end. This is a lot of knife for a third of the price. If you feel better about spending a lot more for a fraction of improvement, by all means spend your cash. Great knife and value. Backed by a two year warranty.
