China is here!
Ok, initial reaction to my CHINESE MADE Kizer GTi.......I crapped my pants when I saw a white detent ball. I thought, oh great, a plastic detent. Then I looked it up. Nope.......CERAMIC! Could I be more impressed? UNLIKELY. Tank? Yes. Fit and finish? Flawless. Lockup? Extremely early and tighter than my ZT 0550..... Zero, and I mean ZERO bladeplay no matter how much pressure I apply from any angle. Action? Smoooooth, this is the smoothest knife I own. Blade centering? A digital micrometer that measures in millionth's of inches would gage it at perfect center. Edge? Makes a laser seem dull. I want EVERY Kizer knife made now. China is here. Way to drop the ball America, way to drop the ball.

Perfect folding hunter
This is a superbly made knife. I bought it after a favorable review in a popular magazine and am not disappointed. It is a large knife, very hand-filling, with a large wide blade. However, it is very light due to the titanium liners. The blade opens and closes extremely smooth, and the liner lock is like a bank vault. It came scary sharp. I don't know what market Kiser is aiming this knife at, but with the dropped point, hollow grind, and light weight it seems like the perfect folding hunter. It seems a little big to me for a discreet EDC. I plan to use a belt pouch and carry it for big game. It is the knife I will carry back to Africa.
