I use this sharpener to put a nice initial edge on all my Case knives as they dull. If you go very softly on the ceramic at the end you can get your knife almost razor sharp but I find finishing the blade on leather at the end will get the knife razor sharp. The Lansky system is great to set the edge. I like how it is a self-contained unit that should last a lifetime.

Works Great
Works great on small to medium sized blades. Could be longer for larger knives. Rods store neatly in handle. Will be nice if able to buy additional rods for replacement (or longer length) Haven't used it enough to comment on durability.
