The perfect work light
I've tried lots of LED lights, and this one is the ideal design. The single, focused LED "throws" a long way, if you need to look down conduits, yet the 35 lumen output is not too bright for closeup work. (Cluster LED lights are good only for closeup work; no throw.) I've tried many "multi-mode" lights and always found them annoying—always in the wrong mode when I'm trying to work. (Seriously, anyone not in a Hollywood movie gunfight in the dark does not need strobe.) The convertible body is a bonus. I prefer rechargeable CR123, which makes a really compact light. Lastly, this unit has a clip that will hold on like a gila monster. I've lost too many expensive LED lights from chintzy clips (and open-topped "holsters"). If you need the ideal little work light, this is it.

very impressed
I bought this flashlight in 2008 and still to this day it is as strong and durable as it was when I first got it. I absolutely love this flashlight. This is well worth the money.

Pros: Durability, Brightness, Battery Life
Cons: None
I'm impressed
I converted the flashlight to the single lithium battery by removing the long center tube, that is used with two AA batteries. This made the flashlight very handy, at about 3 inches long. With the heavy aluminum body and steel clip, the flashlight converted to the perfect size to stow in the nylon pouch of my SOG Seal Pub sheath. The included lithium battery should be immune to the cold temperatures up here in the North East. Excellent product at an excellent price.
