Great EDC Knife
This was my first Knife Center purchase, as well as my first Meyerco. I purchased this knife to use as my EDC/ work piece. I am a warehouse manager so I am extremely hard on my knives, cutting boxes and such. This knife performed great out of the box and has continued to do so since. It is a great knife for the price. I highly recommend it. I am also a Knife Center customer for life.

Solid, Beefy, Dimensions are not as described.....
Just got this in. I like the overall design, but I am disappointed in the build /QA topics. At $20, it's a great price, but if I had paid full price I would be returning it. The G10 handles are fine, but the Bolster area on one side is very flawed/gouged/pitted and shouldn't have been installed. The blade dimensions on this unit ARE NOT 4-3/8', more like 4" handle to tip, with the ACTUAL serration and regular edge cutting length measurement of 3 1/2" (first tooth to blade tip). The serration could have started closer to the handle area; on this one you lose about a half an inch of actual blade surface. Also, the blade grind is pitted and not even, which means it tears instead of slices. I can clean that up with my stones though. Not huge issues, but I was expecting it to be as advertised. The A-OK assist is very nice, the chassis is strong and lockup is very good. No side to side play in the blade area and the knife is lighter than I expected it to be on such a beefy knife. Flicking it open is way easier than the time it takes to use the thumb assist. There have been complaints on the screws being brittle, these look fair, but I don't plan on taking this thing apart to test that theory.

Cons: Blade Sharpness, Ease of Opening
Beefy. Smooth. Slow.
I got this as an EDC. It's big and feels heavy and solid. The blade is sharp-ish, but I think a little effort will get that edge where it needs to be. It opens slow as compared to a 3 inch Kershaw, but that's an unfair comparison. Good lock-up opened and closed. And, once the assist engages, it opens smoothly. Unfortunately, the arthritis in my thumb is irritated by the way the thumb stud works. I'd prefer it have the extended choil like the Kershaws. If that's not a deal-breaker for you, this is a good knife for the price.
