Description
MILKBBTT1: Jason Breeden Tactical Bali Tool 3-3/4" Drop Point Folder Knife (Black)
Mil-Tac Knives and Tools

Jason Breeden's has. He earned distinction as the knife designer who creates odd-shaped blades with his first knife, the Captain. Critics changed their tune after using the Captain and experiencing its pure functionality, and dismissing its quirky appearance as inconsequential. His second collaboration, the Rescue, is equally unconventional. Like all Breeden designs, it reflects Jason’s hard-use outdoor experiences in the Appalachian Mountains. "My designs are born from need I've experienced. I live in the Appalachian Mountains and am regularly outdoors."

This knife does not have a locking mechanism but is held closed or open with a strong magnet at the end of the handles.

Pros: Handle Feel, Overall Quality, None
Cons: Ease of Opening
Solid Modern Butterfly
I really like this knife and have not been able to put it down since it came in. The action is smooth and tight. The build quality is second to none. The magnetic lock holds tight which is both a pro and a con it will not come apart in your pocket but it does take practice to flip open and closed (not as simple as a traditional lock) Overall a great knife

This thing is just cool
This is an interesting niche product. If you like a Balisong because you enjoy twirling it around, this really isn't your knife, as it comes to a complete stop every time the handles come together (the magnets work very well). If, on the other hand, you are like me and like a bali because it is the strongest, safest type of folding knife there is (two pivots mean the "lock" can never fail and have the knife close on your hand) then this is a very cool, well made knife. It can be manipulated with one hand, although it takes some getting used to; rolling open and closed after just a little pinch with the fingers to separate the magnetically-attracted handles. It's heavy, and somewhat boxy in the handle, although it feels great in my large hands. The blade grinds, both primary and secondary, are very clean and even, as is the overall fit and finish of the whole package. The edge, especially, is nice from the factory--I'm rather obsessed with edges and it's so rare and enjoyable to have a knife come that doesn't need immediate re-profiling. If I was going to make it "perfect" for me it would be just slightly thinner through the scales and have a pocket clip, but overall it's a neat piece and I'm very happy with it. It doesn't quite replace a traditional bali for me, especially not from one of the better custom makers, but for a nice and rugged mid-tech it's definitely a winner.
