Description
MNTMF3: MF-3 Slimline III
Mantis Knives

Mantis Knives describes this item as follows:

Similar to its brother, the Slimline III has been laser cut from a single piece of high carbon 420 series steel. The same design principles and ideas were used in the construction of this addition to the fixed blade line. One main difference is its more classic drop-point design. Basically, it all comes down to preference. Same great interchangeability of the sheath, and the same awesome grip ability of the handle. Which ‘Slimline’ Mantis design do you desire?

Pros: Materials, Overall Quality, Weight, Blade Material
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, None
Knife is fine, sheath needs a bit of work
Knife needed just a bit of touch up on my crock sticks but it will work just fine - decent balance, excellent "holdability." The sheath is a bit loose; a bit of paracord with a drop of oil should be put in the end of the sheath for better blade retention. The belt loop is too small unless you're wearing a really skinny belt or you're willing to pare off a bit of your current belt. Still, the knife is a keeper and will be a good backup.
