Description
MNTMF4HC: MF-4HC Chaos 1
Mantis Knives

Mantis Knives describes this item as follows:

The MF-4 series of knives is probably the design that is responsible for bringing Mantis to where we are today in the industry. Its angular and very industrial appearance confuses the eye. Our MF-4’s are laser cut from a single piece of stainless, and finally 8 individual blocks of G-10 are screwed into the tang with 440-A stainless screws. This knife is without a doubt, a true tactical tool. This is the Chaos I, the steel is a standard 420HC, but the look is anything but standard.

Pros: Materials, Handle Material, Blade Material, Finish, Weight, Overall Quality, Blade Sharpness
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, None
great knife poor sheath
The knife is great comes razor sharp fits in hand well the only drawback is the sheath. The fastener are loose and the knife can be removed even having to unsnap them. You van make it secure by criss crossing them, which is not what it is designed to do. I work in law enforcement and take this knife to work with me every day. I recommend it to anyone.

A real conversation starter
I have had this knife now for about a year. It has held up well to everyday carry and use. it was surprising, but the way the handle is cut/made is very comfortable and stays put in your hand during use. I have many fixed blade knives but this is one that I just love to carry and do so a lot. I also get the most interest in this blade of my carry knives by people I meet. I have to agree with the thoughts on the sheath, it is not a high quality item but it is still doing its job after a year's use. Overall a great item and I would gladly buy again.
