XM-2 -- tough and WICKED sharp!
General use, hunting, office (opening boxes). I cut myself within one hour because the knife is so damned sharp, ESPECIALLY in the area of the serrations. I was distracted while closing it. DAMN. Tight as a drum, and solid as a tank. For most of us, the XR is probably more practical due to decreased weight. Skeletonizing the aluminum handle might also be an option, because it is pretty heavy for a pocket knife. Weight is the ONLY downside. I'd also leave off the "combat deployed" inscription. It may, however, sell some knives.

Great Knife
For everday chores, This like is just the little brother to the XM1. I have one of those as well and both have a great feel, fit and are very sharp. XM2 is a thinner in the handle, than the XM1, but still feels great. No issues with the knife so far. Locks up great and can be easily opened and closed with one have hand.

Ontario XM -2TS
This is my second Ontario folder Xm-2. Gave the first one to a friend. Extremely well built knife. Carries well for a large knife. Fit and finish is superb. I have found the knife difficult to sharpen. That is not usually a problem for me. It is slightly difficult to thumb the knife open. Overall a very good knife. (bought a second one). Great service from Knife Center. Think they had it shipped and to my address in three days.
