Awesome EDC
I researched long and hard for an EDC to replace my much beloved and now lost Buck110 ( which is NOT an EDC !) . The Rat is just a superb value knife on all fronts. I can't fault it. it will now go everywhere with me.

The very definition of value!
Buy it, you will not be disappointed. The only reason it doesn't get 5 stars in my book is because of the handle scales being a bit slick, but the handle ergonomics make up for that.

Pros: Overall Quality
Cons: None
I own a lot of knives in a wide price range ( 200$ to 30$). I try to rotate through several knives as my everyday carry. I find that I keep going back to my rat as my favorite. I use it for all cutting chores including field dressing 3 elk to date. Using it as a spatula in camp, opening canned foods, bottle opener. The knife has held up to this abuse well and I will continue to make sure I have a Rat 1 with me as an every day carry
