Pros:
Cons:
Diamond in the rough.
I bought this knife because I wasn't satisfied with the blade steel that Victorinox uses and I thought it would be cool to have a knife with such a strong military lineage. Overall, I love the knife. Yes it is heavier than a swiss army knife, but it can also take more abuse. I have read other reviews regarding the screwdriver bit bending and other things and I have not found that to be the case. This is a very solid knife. So the knife blade is wider than my SAK with more belly and is made from better steel (in my opinion). The can opener works just as well as the SAK's, but it lacks the small screwdriver. However, it is really effective at cleaning dirt from under your finger nails. The large flat bladed screwdriver works well, but the bottle opener needed some work. I have seen older Camillus brand versions of this knife and the part of the bottle opener that is designed to hook under the skirt of the bottle cap is much sharper than on this Ontario version. Perhaps they skip some additional step or the tooling has been changed. Either way it was not very effective out of the box. However with a few minutes and my Dremel tool it works perfectly. The awl is just about perfect. It throws a great spark with a fire steel and I've used it to repair canvas tarps and perform other rustic camping duties. The bail is much better than on the SAK. Overall it's great. It would be better if it was cheaper, but it's the kind of knife that will be with you for decades. Recommended.

It does the job
Friends, I am an active duty service member who wanted a nostalgic low profile knife for day-to-day duties. The OKC does everything I need it to for that task. Overall the knife is good. My only concerns are that some of the blades although fully functional are pitted (not the main cutting blade). Whether this was intentional or just poor quality control I am not sure. The second issue is that the knife blades are very stiff making them hard to open. This will probably subside with use. Overall this knife is a good pocket knife. It is sturdy and well built but will need dome TLC.

Bit of a let down
I really like the look of this and it's fairly heavy so you think it'd be sturdy but the screw driver tip warped on the first use on a very mild application. The bottle opener seems to be fit for bottles that I don't seem to be able to buy, as it's quite a hassles to use on a regular old beer bottle. Overall I was disappointed.
