Pros: Blade Sharpness, Overall Quality, Weight, Blade Material, None
Cons: Handle Material, Sheath/Scabbard
Good and rugged
The micarta handle is pretty good, but to be honest, I ended up pulling it off and paracord wrapping the handle myself. It's much more comfortable in my hand that way. I really like the size, shape, and steel used for the knife, but I'd recommend that you save some cash and just buy the cord-wrapped version instead.

This is a quality high carbon steel knife.
This is a quality high carbon steel knife. It sharpens to a razor’s edge. Only one draw back it that you must protect it from rust buy wiping it down every day’s end with light oil or spray with Silicone, other than that it’s AAA++. High Carbon 1098 steel has long been used for knives and swords for years long before stainless steel became popular and is still an excellent knife material. More men have been killed or wounded in war by High Carbon Steel weapons then all other materials, since the time of the Roman Legions. Well worth the money if you are will to wipe it down when finished using it...

Pros: Blade Sharpness, Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Material, Materials, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: None
This knife is an excellent one. It sharpens razor sharp and is simple in design and construction. The balance is excellent as the tip points slightly up as it is supposed too in a weapon of this type. In fact I replaced the knife that I generally wear with this one due to the balance. You can spend $200.00 dollars on a knife and this one will measure up to it. The heat treatment of the steel 1095 is excellent and the knife is scary sharp! Well worth the money!
