1095 Carbon Steel
1095 Carbon Steel
An excellent hard use steel, 1095 is a primary choice for camping and larger fixed blade knives for it's extreme toughness and ability to hold an edge. Corrosion resistance is very limited with this steel, most blades come with a coating to prevent premature rusting.
Kydex Sheath
Kydex Sheath
Waterproof, scratch resistant, and low friction. It will hold its shape and makes a great alternative to leather.

Pros: Sheath/Scabbard, Handle Material, Blade Sharpness, Materials, Blade Material, Weight, Overall Quality, Finish
Cons: Sheath/Scabbard, None
Great knife
The knife is used as a law enforcement tool. Primary purpose is a last ditch weapon/accident survival tool. the knife is well balanced, tough, the blade finish is very nice and the black is tactical. The only complaints, which are small are; 1. paracord for neck hang is too short for most men. 2. Wish there was an option for some sort of belt mount

Use the sheath!
The guy who doesn't like the glass-breaker function because he's worried about cutting his hand, COULD sheath the knife, hold the sheath, and THEN smack the glass! I don't have one of these knives-- yet, but I like the idea of having a small fixed blade on my person 24/7 AND also one in each pack I carry, and in my jean jacket-- just in case. Based on other reviews, this would be very good, especially to keep in the jacket. I have an Izula, which is my EDC neck knife.
